Infiot Extensible Edge Quick Start Guide

Follow the simple steps below to bring your Infiot iXEdge-101 online:

Step 1. Connect to the Power

Connect the power adapter to the DC power outlet, and connect the other end of the adapter to

the power port on the Edge. When the Edge powers ON, the round indicator light will flash

Amber.

Step 2. Connect to the Internet

Connect the Ethernet cable with Internet connection to the interface labeled as WAN. By default,

Infiot Edge will acquire a DHCP IP address from the ISP on the WAN side. When the WAN

connection is fully operational, the round indicator light will become solid Amber.

Step 3. Activate the Edge from Email

Open the Email with the title started with Infiot Edge Activation Directions, and follow the

instructions in the email. After the successful activation, the round indicator light will become

solid White.

Step 4. Connect Local Devices

Connect local devices such as switches, desktops to ports labeled LAN1, LAN2 or OPT, or

connect to WiFi.
