IDU-LA-G(V.01)is an indoor DC/DC injector. It greatly reduces complexity of the deployment in the cases where DC
source is available thus reducing both capital expenditures and total cost of ownership.
IDU-LA-G(V.01) may be used for the following purposes:
To serve as a line protection unit for indoor network equipment connected to the second Ethernet port on
ODU.
To connect third-party DC power sources to ODU (for example, to power the unit from solar power or wind
power sources).
