Installation Guide

GROUND SLEEVE INSTALLATION STEPS:
1. Dig a hole the depth of the sleeve plus 3 inches.
2. Keep minimum diameter at least 10 inches at the top of
the hole and 8 inches at the bottom.
3. In the base of the hole place 3 inches of stone for drainage.
4. Add 3 inches of sand to the top of the stone.
5. Place the ground sleeve in the sand with the top of the sleeve
1 inch above grade level shown in FIGURE A.
6. Put the bottom section of the pole into the ground sleeve.
7. Pour concrete mix into hole and around sleeve to within
1.5 inches of top of ground sleeve.
8. Brace pole and use a level in order to ensure a straight pole
before concrete sets.
FLAGPOLE INSTALLATION & ASSEMBLY STEPS:
1. Put the aluminum truck with pully on the top section of pole.
2. Tighten set screw firmly.
3. Thread halyard rope through the pully and knot the ends
together to form a loop.
4. Tie the snap hooks as illustrated in FIGURE B.
5. Position snap hooks the appropriate distance apart to
accomodate the 3 ft. x 5 ft. flag provided.
6. Thread the ball ornament by the stem, not the ball portion.
7. Tighten the set screw against the stem to hold the ball in place.
8. Slide remaining sections together making sure that the truck is
positioned over the cleat as shown in FIGURE C.
