SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Unpacking During transportation, protective packaging was used to protect the appliance against any damage. After unpacking, please dispose of all elements of packaging in a way that will not cause damage to the environment. All materials used for packaging the appliance are environmentally friendly; they are 100% recyclable and are marked with the appropriate symbol. This rangehood must only be installed in accordance with the instructions provided.

Off button It’s used for turning off the fan. 1 Low Speed button It’s used for Ventilation on the kitchen. It is suitable for simmering and cooking which do not make much steam. 2 Medium Speed button Airflow speed is ideally for ventilation in standard cooking operation.
I N S TA L L AT I O N I N S T R U C T I O N S It’s important to carefully read the following installation instructions before beginning the installation of your oven. Important installation safety – – – – – – – – Ducting options Always switch the power off prior to beginning the installation. Stainless steel is very easily damaged during installation. Wherever possible, protect the rangehood with the cardboard box or plastic wrap during the installation.
I N S TA L L AT I O N I N S T R U C T I O N S CONTINUED Through your wall Further to your various ducting options, below are some tips on how to correctly duct your rangehood: – Always use correctly sized ducting – DO NOT reduce the size of the ducting – Always use solid ducting – Always use non-flammable ducting – Always duct to the outside atmosphere – Do not use flexible ducting – Do not duct into the ceiling space- always vent to the outside atmosphere.
I N S TA L L AT I O N I N S T R U C T I O N S CONTINUED Chimney installation – We need the secure screws to make sure the hood is stable on the wall. After hanging the cooker hood on the bracket ,remove the filters , mark and drill 2 holes and fasten the hood on the wall with 2 wall plugs and 2 2 × ST4 × 30mm screws. – Fix the one-way-valve to the air outlet of the cooker hood. Then, attach two exhaust pipes onto the one-way-valve as shown below. – Put the upper chimney into lower chimney .
I N S TA L L AT I O N I N S T R U C T I O N S CONTINUED Chimney installation Upper chimney Lower chimney – – – – Slide the upper chimney to adjust the chimney height. When the height required is reached, drill 4 × 8mm holes to accommodate the plate II. Screw and tighten the plate II onto the wall with 4 wall plugs and 4 x ST4x30mm . When finish ,fix the lower chimney with 2 x ST4x8mm Slide the upper chimney to adjust the chimney height.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE By ensuring proper cleaning and maintenance of your Airvolution rangehood, you can ensure that it will have a long and fault free operation. Cleaning the baffle filters Keeping this filter clean will eep the rangehood extraction performance at an optimum. Please strictly follow the guidelines below. – – – The baffle filter is made of stainless steel. Please ensure you never use a corrosive detergent during cleaning.
TROUBLESHOOTING & T E C H N I CA L DATA Operation in case of emergency In the event of an emergency you should: – – – Switch off all rangehood controls. Switch the rangehood off at the power outlet and immediately unplug. Call the Residentia Support Team on 1300 11 HELP (4357). Some minor faults can be fi ed by referring to the instructions given in the Troubleshooting section below. There is also a self-help section online at https://residentia.zendesk.
