Do not allow moisture or atmospheric humidity inside the cap.
Keep the cap in its sealed package until you are ready to install it.
Install promptly. Ensure that O-ring grooves are dry and that the O-
ring is not rolled or pinched inside the cap.
The typical cap lifetime is two years after the first reading has
been taken.
