MODELS

CABINET: Be sure that the cabinet bottom is level, side to side and front to rear.
PS: Cut an 8” x 8” hole in the bottom of the cabinet, 3/4” in from the rear wall and on center line.
T & PS1: Cut an 8” x 8” wide hole that is 4.25” off center in the bottom of the cabinet, 3/4” in from the
wall. Shelves and top to be cut to clear 7” round pipe to line up with the bottom cabinet cut out. Also, cut
holes for electrical wires. The location of the cut out determined by the model you are installing.
ELECTRICAL: Stub enough wire into cabinet to reach in front of vent pipe. Enter cabinet 2” left (facing
hood) of center and 1-1/8” from wall. Remove splice box cover before mounting.
MOUNTING: Remove black tape holding dampers closed. Insert canopy below the cabinet, being sure
your vent opening and electrical cut outs line up with cabinet cut outs. Use the Key Hole mounting holes
to secure the canopy. After hood is mounted attach house wires to leads in the hood. Secure locknut to
conduit and check wiring for compliance to local building codes. FINISH: Replace splice box cover.
Connect duct and tape all joints. Install filters.
NOTE:
Electrical Opening for the “PS” model is 2” to the
left of center and 2” in from the front of canopy.
Electrical Opening for the “PS1” and “T” models is
1” in from the back of the hood on the right side and
9” off center.

For Baffle Filters, install grease tray towards
the back of hood. Take one baffle, slide
between steel strips towards the front of the
hood and push back into grease tray grooves,
then slide to one side. Insert second baffle the
same way and slide to opposite side. (Grease
holes, on bottom of baffle must be inserted into
grease tray) Take Center Panel and slide in
towards the front of the hood and push back into
grease tray.
