Failure to do so may cause damage, injury, or bodily harm including permanent disability and/or death. POSITIONING THE UNIT: A dehumidifier operating in a basement will have little or no effect in drying an adjacent enclosed storage area, such as a closet, unless there is adequate circulation of air in and out of the area. • Do not use outdoors.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (CONTINUED): REMOVING THE COLLECTED WATER: There are two ways to remove collected water. 1. USE THE RESERVOIR • When the unit is off and the reservoir is full, the indicator light will flash. • When the unit is on, if the reservoir is full, the compressor turns off and the fan turns off after 30 seconds for drying the water of the condenser, then the unit will beep 8 times and the Full indicator light will flash. The digital display shows error P2. • Slowly pull out the reservoir.
• Make sure the hose is secure so there are no leaks. Direct the hose toward the drain, making sure that there are no kinks that will stop the water flow. Place the end of the hose into the drain and make sure the end of the hose is level or down to let the water flow smoothly. Do never let it up. • Place the reservoir back in the unit and make sure that it is seated correctly. • Select the desired humidity setting and fan speed on the unit to commence continuous draining. 3.
FRONT PANEL OVERVIEW: The following diagram and legend shows the functions of the front operating panel. Some functions are only available on select models. When you push the button to change operation modes, the unit will make a beep sound to indicate that it is changing modes. 1) Pump Button Press to activate continuous pump drainage mode. 2) Filter Button The check filter indicator is a feature to remind you clean the air filter for more efficient operation.

TIMER FUNCTION AUTO SHUT OFF • The timer indicator lights are for two separate functions, one to automatically turn the unit on and another to automatically shut it off.
CARE & MAINTENANCE: Figure 1 IMPORTANT: Turn the dehumidifier off and remove the plug from the wall outlet before cleaning. CLEANING THE GRILLE AND CASE: • Use water and a mild detergent.
