Setting the Modeling Light
The Venture TTL 600 has an integrated 1500 lm LED modeling light. The modeling
light’s power output is represented on the LCD screen by 10%–100% (in
continuous mode), or by AU (in proportional mode).
Modeling light modes
Four modeling light modes are available on the Venture TTL 600:
F3-0: The modeling light power is in continuous mode and set independently of
the ash output. The modeling light will stay on while the ash is recycling.
F3-1: The modeling light power is in continuous mode and set manually,
independent of the ash output. The modeling light blinks off when the ash is
triggered, and comes back on when the Venture TTL 600 has recycled. In this
mode, the modeling light can be used as a visual alert that the ash is ready to
re.
F3-2: The modeling light power is proportional to ash power output. Increasing
or decreasing the ash power with the COMMAND dial will incrementally
increase or decrease the modeling light brightness. The modeling light will stay
on while the ash is recycling.
F3-3: The modeling light power is proportional to ash power output. The
modeling light blinks off when the ash is triggered, and comes back on when
the Venture TTL 600 has recycled. In this mode, the modeling light can be used
as a visual alert that the ash is ready to re.
To select the modeling light mode, follow these steps:
1. Press the SOUND/FN button for approximately 3 seconds until F3 appears
on the LCD screen. If F4 appears on the LCD screen, rotate the COMMAND
dial to F3.
