A multivoltage 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz charger is included

with the Venture TTL 600 for the rechargeable Li-ion battery.

1. Plug the AC cord into a wall outlet, and the charger’s

indicator light will glow green to indicate that power is

being received.

2. Connect the DC cord to the battery. The charger

indicator light will glow red to indicate the battery

is charging, and green to indicate that the battery is

charged.

3. Install the battery by sliding the insertion guides into

the slots in the battery compartment. Make sure the

metal contact plates on the battery are aligned with

the contacts in the battery compartment.

4. Press the battery into place until it clicks shut.

5. When you turn on the monolight, the battery

indicator ( ) on the LCD screen will show that

the battery is fully charged.

Note: Impact recommends fully charging the battery

before its initial use and after an extended period of

inactivity (more than two months).

If the unit is left unused for an extended period of two weeks or more, or if

the unit has been used predominately at low-power settings, set the power to

maximum and switch the monolight on (with the modeling lamp off) for at least

10 minutes. This will help preserve the life of the capacitors.
