1.4 Dimensioni principali Gateway.

1.5 Allacciamento elettrico Gateway.
N.B.: prima di eettuare qualsiasi collegamento elettrico
accertarsi che tutti gli apparecchi coinvolti siano discon-
nessi dalla rete elettrica.
N.B.: il Gateway deve essere alimentato esclusivamente
utilizzando il cavo di alimentazione fornito di serie con il
prodotto. Nel caso in cui il cavo di alimentazione risultasse
danneggiato, non utilizzare il dispositivo e contattare un
Centro Assistenza Autorizzato Immergas.
N.B.: per una corretta installazione predisporre una linea
elettrica dedicata per il collegamento del Gateway secondo
le normative vigenti riguardanti gli impianti elettrici. Se
questo non fosse possibile eventuali disturbi dovuti ad al-
tri cavi elettrici potrebbero causare il mal funzionamento
del modulo stesso.
I collegamenti elettrici del Gateway devono essere eseguiti
seguendo gli schemi illustrati nel capitolo 4, oppure come
da istruzioni fornite nel manuale di installazione del
generatore Immergas.
In caso di utilizzo in abbinamento a un generatore non
Immergas, il cavo di alimentazione del Gateway deve
essere connesso ad una rete 230Vac / 50Hz in conformità
alle vigenti normative in materia di installazione elettrica,
prevedendo comunque un dispositivo di disconnessione
onnipolare con categoria di sovratensione classe III.
1.6 Installazione a parete degli apparecchi.
N.B.: assicurarsi che la zona di installazione del modulo
di ricezione/trasmissione dati (Gateway) riceva adegua-
tamente il segnale della rete Wi-Fi di casa e del Bluetooth
del Cronotermostato.
N.B.: il supporto per l'installazione a parete è il medesimo
sia per ssare il Gateway che il Cronotermostato.
Fissaggio a parete Gateway (Fig. 3):
installare il supporto (2) ssandolo alla parete tramite i
tasselli ad espansione (1) e le viti in dotazione (3).
N.B.: prestare attenzione nel posizionare correttamente
la livella a bolla (10) verso il basso.
Dopo aver cablato il Gateway (4) come indicato negli
schemi di collegamento illustrati nel Capitolo 4, posizion-
are il blocca cavo (7) nell’apposita sede (8). Se sono stati
utilizzati cavi aggiuntivi per connettere le porte di co-
municazione IMGBus e/o ModBUS, rompere i pretranci
(9) per consentire a questi cavi di uscire dall’involucro
del Gateway.
Agganciare il Gateway (4) al supporto (2) precedentemente
ssato alla parete e inne bloccarlo serrando a fondo le due
viti di ssaggio (5).

installare il supporto (2) ssandolo alla parete tramite i
tasselli ad espansione (1) e le viti in dotazione (3).
N.B.: prestare attenzione nel posizionare correttamente
la livella a bolla (5) verso il basso.
Sganciare il corpo del Cronotermostato (4) dalla base da ta-
volo, quindi inserire le 2 batterie tipo LR03 (AAA) a corredo
nell’apposito vano (Fig. 5), successivamente agganciare il
Cronotermostato a pressione sul supporto (2). Per sostituire
le batterie, sganciare il Cronotermostato (4) dal supporto a
muro (2) e ripetere le operazioni descritte sopra.
A ne installazione rimuovere la pellicola protettiva dal
display del Cronotermostato.

1.7 Abbinamento Gateway - Cronotermostato.
Dopo aver alimentato il generatore, il Gateway e il Crono-
termostato, attendere circa 30 secondi prima di eettuare
qualsiasi impostazione sul sistema in modo che la comu-
nicazione fra Gateway, generatore e Cronotermostato si
sia instaurata correttamente.
N.B.: tutti i cronotermostati "Smartech Plus" sono già
congurati per poter funzionare correttamente con il
proprio Gateway, quindi non necessitano di alcuna con-
gurazione aggiuntiva per farli funzionare.
Nel caso di malfunzionamento è possibile eettuare un
nuovo abbinamento tra Gateway e Termostato proceden-
do come descritto di seguito:
- assicurarsi di avere acceso il Gateway da almeno 5
minuti;
- tenere premuto sul Getaway il pulsante "Reset" no
a quando la segnalazione sul Led "BLE" passa da 5
lampeggi veloci al secondo, a un lampeggio al secondo;
- con Cronotermostato impostato sulla nestra princi-
pale, premere e tenere premuto lo stesso per 3 secondi
no a far comparire il menù "Mode" o "Program", dopo-
dichè ruotare il Cronotermostato no a visualizzare il
menù "Settings". A questo punto premere nuovamente e
ruotare per selezionare il menù "Diagnostic" e premere
per confermare ed entrare nel menù;
- premere nuovamente il Cronotermostato, sul display
comparirà il messaggio "Pairing". Quando compare
la segnalazione "Disconnect", il Cronotermostato è
associato al Gateway;
- per tornare al menù principale, premere e tenere pre-
muto a lungo il Cronotermostato;
- spegnere (togliendo tensione) e riaccendere il Gateway.
1.8 Operazioni di download e installazione applica-
zione sui dispositivi mobili (smartphone).
Utilizzando il dispositivo mobile su cui si vuole installare
l’applicazione, collegarsi al relativo Store di applicazioni
di riferimento: App Store (Apple) o Play Store (Android)
e digitare “Immergas smartech” nel campo di ricerca.
L’applicazione funziona con sistema operativo IOS 12 o
superiore (Apple) e Android 10 o superiore. Selezionare
l’applicazione gratuita “Smartech” e attendere il suo
download e installazione sul dispositivo mobile utilizzato.
Aprire la App “Smartech” e scaricare il manuale di istru-
zioni premendo sul bottone “Istruzioni e avvertenze”.
Seguire le istruzioni in esso riportate per procedere alla
registrazione e associazione con il sistema Smartech Plus
installato.
Il manuale è scaricabile anche dal sito www.immergas.
com.
N.B: il nome della rete Wi-Fi e la password a cui verrà
collegato Smartech Plus non deve contenere al suo interno
il simbolo “&” e la metodologia di criptazione deve essere
la WPA2 PSK; in caso contrario potrebbero vericarsi dei
malfunzionamenti.
1.9 Congurazione tipologia impianto senza con-
nessione Wi-Fi.
L’associazione del sistema Smartech Plus al tipo di gen-
eratore connesso avviene completando la procedura di
registrazione utente tramite l’app “Smartech” (paragrafo
1.8). Nel caso in cui al primo avviamento dell’impianto
non sia disponibile la connessione WiFi (quindi non si
possa eettuare la procedura citata sopra), è possibile
selezionare temporaneamente il tipo di generatore con-
nesso come segue:
- eettuare i collegamenti elettrici sul Gateway come de-
scritto al paragrafo 1.5, quindi alimentare il dispositivo;
- inserire le batterie all’interno del Cronotermostato;
- una volta visualizzato il logo Immergas, tenere premuto
il Cronotermostato no alla visualizzazione dell’elenco
tipologia generatori;
- ruotare il Cronotermostato sul tipo di generatore
desiderato;
- premere il Cronotermostato per confermare.

1.5 Gateway electrical connection.
N.B.: before performing any electrical connection, make
sure that all the involved appliances are disconnected
from the mains.
N.B.: the Gateway must only be powered by the power
cable supplied as per standard with the product. Should
the power cable be damaged, do not use the device and
contact an authorised Immergas Aer-sales Centre.
N.B.: for correct installation prepare a dedicated power
line for the connection of the Gateway according to the
Standards in force regarding electrical systems. If this is
not possible interference due to other electric cables could
cause malfunctioning of the module itself.
e electrical connections of the Gateway must be car-
ried out following the diagrams illustrated in chapter 4,
or the instructions supplied in the Immergas generator
installation manual.
If used coupled to a generator not manufactured by
Immergas, the Gateway power cable must be connected
to a 230Vac / 50Hz mains in compliance with standards
in force regarding electrical installation, which anyhow
must include a class III overvoltage category omnipolar
disconnection device.
1.6 Wall-mounting of appliances.
N.B.: make sure that the area of installation of the data
reception/transmission module (Gateway) receives the
signal of the home Wi-Fi network properly and the
Chrono-thermostat Bluetooth.
N.B.: the wall-mounted support installation is the same
both for xing the Gateway and the Chrono-thermostat.
Gateway wall-mounting (Fig. 3):
install the mount (2) xing it to the wall with expansion
plugs (1) and the supplied screws (3).
N.B.: pay attention to correctly position the spirit level
(10) downwards.
Aer having wired the Gateway (4) as indicated in the
connection diagrams illustrated in chapter 4, position the
cable gland (7) in the specic slot (8). If additional cables
were used to connect the IMGBus and/or ModBUS com-
munication ports, break the pre-cuts (9) to allow these
cables to come out of the Gateway enclosure.
Apply the Gateway (4) to the mount (2) already xed to
the wall and secure it by tightening the two xing screws
all the way (5).

Chrono-thermostat wall-mounting (Fig. 4):
install the mount (2) xing it to the wall with expansion
plugs (1) and the supplied screws (3).
N.B.: pay attention to correctly position the spirit level
(5) downwards.
Release the body of the Chrono-thermostat (4) from the
table base, then insert the 2 LR03 (AAA) batteries supplied
in the specic compartment (Fig. 5), then press-couple
the Chrono-thermostat on the mount (2). To replace the
batteries, release the Chrono-thermostat (4) from the wall
mount (2) and repeat the above operations.
At the end of the installation, remove the protective lm
from the display of the chrono-thermostat.

1.7 Gateway - Chrono-thermostat coupling.
Aer having powered the generator, the Gateway and
the Chrono-thermostat, wait 30 seconds before perfor-
ming any setting on the system so that communication
between the Gateway, generator and Chrono-thermostat
is properly established.
N.B.: all “Smartech Plus” chrono-thermostats are alre-
ady congured to work correctly with your Gateway, so
they do not need any additional conguration to make
them work.
In case of a malfunction, the Gateway and ermostat
can be re-coupled by proceeding as follows:
- make sure you have turned on the Gateway for at least
5 minutes;
- keep the “Reset” button on the Gateway pressed until
the indication on the “BLE” LED switches from 5 quick
blinks a second to one blink a second;
- with Chrono-thermostat set on the main window, press
and hold the same key for 3 seconds until the “Mode”
or “Program” menu appears, then rotate the Chrono-
thermostat to display the “Settings” menu. At this point
again press and hold the key to select the “Diagnostic”
menu and press to conrm and to enter the menu;
- press the Chrono-thermostat again, the message “Pai-
ring” will appear on the display. When “Disconnect”
appears, the Chrono-thermostat is paired to the Gate-
way;
- press and hold the Chrono-thermostat to go back to
the main menu;
- switch o (removing power) and switch the Gateway
back on.
1.8 Application download and installation on mobile
devices (smartphone).
Using the mobile device on which to install the appli-
cation, connect to the App store of reference: App Store
(Apple) or Play Store (Android) and type in “Immergas
Smartech” in the search eld. e app works with IOS 12
operating system or higher (Apple) and Android 10 or
higher. Select the free “Smartech” application and wait for
its download and installation on the mobile device used.
Open the “Smartech” app and download the instruction
manual by pressing the “Instructions and warnings”
button. Follow its instructions to register and pair it with
the installed Smartech Plus system.
e manual can be downloaded from the website www.
immergas.com.
N.B: the name of the Wi-Fi network and password to
which Smartech Plus will be connected must not contain
the “&” symbol and the encryption methodology must be
WPA2 PSK; otherwise, malfunctions could occur.
1.9 Type of system conguration without Wi-Fi
connection.
e Smartech Plus system is paired to the type of gen-
erator connected by completing the user registration
procedure on the “Smartech” app (paragraph 1.8). If there
is no WiFi connection available when rst starting the
system (and therefore the above-mentioned procedure
cannot be performed), the type of generator connected
can be selected temporarily as follows:
- make the electrical connections on the Gateway as
described in paragraph 1.5, then power the device;
- insert the batteries in the Chrono-thermostat;
- once the Immergas logo is displayed, keep the
Chrono-thermostat pressed until the list of the type
of generators appears;
- rotate the Chrono-thermostat to the desired type of
generator;
- press the Chrono-thermostat to conrm.
