4.3 Operation without DMX controller
Select the menu item or
: The spot-
light will project a light beam whose colour tem-
perature and brightness depend on the settings
of the two menu items and .
To set the brightness for cool white, call up
and set the desired value ( = cool
white off, = maximum brightness of cool
white). To set the brightness for warm white,
call up and set the desired value ( =
warm white off, = maximum brightness
of warm white). The brightness ratio between
cool white and warm white will define the colour
temperature.
4.3.1 Stroboscope
Select the menu item
: The spotlight will
emit flashes of light whose brightness and colour
temperature depend on the settings of the two
menu items and (see above).
To set the flash rate, call up and set the
desired value ( = lowest flash rate, =
highest flash rate).
4.4 Additional menu functions
After setting the functions below, select the de-
sired operating mode again.
4.4.1 Temperature-controlled power limitation
menu item
The spotlight is equipped with a power limita-
tion function. It will protect the spotlight against
overheating when the internal temperature is
too high. When this function has been activated
( ), the power consumption of the LED will
be reduced to 50 % when the internal temper-
ature reaches approximately 80 °C. The power
consumption will rise to 100 % again when the
temperature has dropped sufficiently.
In the 5-channel DMX mode, the function can be
deactivated or activated via channel 5 (
☞
chap-
ter4.2.2).
4.4.2 LED response time
menu item
When has been selected, the LED will im-
mediately respond when the brightness setting
is changed. To simulate the slow response of
a conventional lamp, select the desired setting
from the four settings (slightly slow re-
sponse) … (slowest response).
In the 5-channel DMX mode, the response time
of the LED is adjusted via channel 5 (
☞
chap-
ter4.2.2).
4.5
Indication of the internal temperature
To indicate the internal temperature of the spot-
light on the display, keep the button ENTER
pressed for 5 seconds. To return to the previous
indication on the display, press the button MENU
or ENTER.
Example:
indication = internal temperature of 50 °C
