7. Inserting the Batteries/Rechargeable
Batteries
• Open the battery compartment on the back of the film scanner.
• Insert 4 Micro/AAA batteries with the correct polarity (observe +/Plus and -/Minus).
If a strip of tissue is in the battery compartment, it must be below the batteries/rechargeable
batteries. This makes it easier to remove the batteries for replacing them. Just pull on the
tissue strip.
• Close the battery compartment.
If you operate the film scanner only through the included mains adapter for any
extended period of time, remove the batteries / rechargeable batteries, since they
can leak when aging and thus damage the battery compartment.
Operating time when using high-quality alkaline batteries is at about 90 minutes.
