If you are ready to accept the restore job, select Yes and the job
will begin.

When the restore job is completed the unit will beep once, the LCD
display will show ‘Restore OK”, Status will change to Idle, and a
completion message will appear on the Management GUI.

uSing tHe SettingS optionS:
1. The Time Out setting commands the system to abort the
RDX Spanning Back Up or Restore if the RDX cartridge is not
cycled in the chosen amount of time (e.g. job requires 3 RDX
cartridges but the system will abort after one or two cartridges
if the next RDX cartridge is not inserted before the time out
occurs). Files backed up or restored before a time out will be
viable, although it is not known which files made it to the job
and which ones did not.
2. The File Name Prefix setting will change the prefix of the TAR
filenames from disk to any text chosen. Default filenames are
disk1.tar, disk2.tar, etc. Typing XXXX into the File Name Prefix
box will change the filenames to XXXX1.tar, XXXX2.tar, etc.
3. Restore Policy allows the user to either Overwrite the current
files and folders (makes the restored files and folders exactly
as they were at the time of the RDX Spanning Back Up job) or,
by using Add Folder, the restore job will put the restored files
and folders into a dierent folder.
4. Restore Folder is the location for a restore job when the
Restore Policy is set to Add Folder.
5. Save and Cancel buttons will save the set up or cancel the set
up respectively.
