Like all Imation flash drives, the Imation Pivot and Pivot Plus Flash Drives
undergo rigorous testing and qualification procedures to ensure that they
will perform well with Windows XP, 2000 and Vista operating systems.
The Pivot and Pivot Plus Flash Drives are designed to meet all required
regulatory testing, including Microsoft WHQL, USB-IF, FCC, CE and ROHS,
supporting industry standards for environment, radiation and susceptibility
of electromagnetic waves, operating system and USB compatibility.
The Pivot and Pivot Plus Flash Drives are engineered to meet all regulatory
testing and withstand extreme environmental conditions, providing users
with added assurance that the drive will perform even when exposed to the
harshest elements.
Pivot and Pivot Plus Flash Drive testing and qualification procedures:
• hardware and software compatibility
• typical user operation and common misuse
• write and read sequential and random speeds
• regulatory testing for Microsoft WHQL, USB-IF, FCC, CE, ROHS
• ongoing performance and compatibility audits following product release
• extreme environmental testing, including ramping temperature
from +80˚C to -60˚C at a rate of 100˚C per minute
• vibration tests with a maximum 50 G RMS force
