The Imation Pivot Plus Flash Drive features an enhanced design and
maximum security to meet rigorous government security needs, providing
an ideal way for business professionals and government personnel to
transport sensitive or valuable data.
The compact, easy-to-use Imation Pivot Plus Flash Drive features:
• advanced security system with 256-bit AES hardware encryption
• one password-protected partition that does not allow storage of
unencrypted content
• hardware encryption that is integrated into the drive controller and is
automatically initiated by the drive, requiring secure storage of all data
• a tamper-resistant design
• full compliance with the federal Trade Agreements Act
Pivot Plus Flash Drive hardware encryption.
With hardware encryption, Pivot Plus Flash Drive users are required to use
the encryption, providing companies and government departments added
assurance that data stored on the drive will not be compromised:
• supports U.S. government requirement for 256-bit AES encryption
• controller-initiated encryption automatically launches when the
drive is inserted into USB port, ensuring that the contents
of the drive are always password protected and encrypted
• strong password protection measures requiring a minimum of
seven characters, including both alpha and numeric characters
• mandatory format of the flash drive after seven failed
attempts, protecting against brute force security attacks
• allows for the creation of a master override password for
improved centralized management of drives
• hardware-based encryption leaves zero footprint
on host computer
