Using the Units Backup Battery Insert a 9-Volt battery into the unit’s Battery Compartment to serve as a backup in case of a power failure. (9-Volt Battery not included) Please note, the backup battery is only meant to power the unit for a short period of time. It is not meant to serve as the unit’s main power supply.
Docking an iPod 1. Locate the numbered Bracket that fits the iPod that will be docked. Each included Bracket has a number on it, indicating which iPod model that bracket is compatible with. See the separate bracket chart page to identify which bracket is needed. 2. Snap the Bracket into place over the iPod connector in the Docking Station. All Brackets will only fit one way onto the Dock.
Playing an iPod 1. Dock an iPod onto the unit. 2. Press the Standby/Al Off Button to turn the unit on. 3. Press the Function Button to switch the unit to iPod mode. 4. Press the Play/Pause Button to play and pause the docked iPod. Tuning the AM/FM Radio 1. Press the Standby/Al Off Button to turn the unit on. 2. Press the Function Button to switch the unit to AM or FM radio mode. 3. Press the Skip/Search/Tuning Buttons to tune the AM or FM radio. Saving FM or AM Radio Stations to the Unit’s Memory 1.

Control Definitions 1 Dock for iPod Use the Dock for iPod to connect an iPod to the unit. 2 Standby/Al Off Button Press the Standby/AL Off Button to turn the unit off and on. Press the Standby/AL Off Button to turn the unit’s alarm off after it sounds. 3 Volume Buttons Press the Volume Buttons to adjust the volume of audio output from the unit. 4 AL 1/M+ Button With the power off, press and hold the AL 1/M+ Button to set alarm 1. Press the AL 1/M+ Button to cycle through saved radio stations.

Control Definitions 22 Tuning/Time Button Press the Tuning/Time Button to tune the AM and FM radio when in radio mode. Press the Tuning/Time Button to adjust the time when setting the clock. 23 Repeat Button Press the Repeat Button to repeat the current audio track from a docked iPod. Press the Repeat Button twice to repeat an entire album or playlist from a docked iPod. 24 Display Button Press the Display Button to view the time when in radio mode.
