1RWH In all automatic calculations, 70 J is taken into account for
the electrical ignition energy.
6DPSOHQDPH The software automatically assigns a sample number for each
measurement of the format \PPGGQQ, where\ is the year, PPis
the month, GG the day and QQa running number. It is easy with
sample numbers formed in this manner to select and work with
specific groups of measurements from the library.
If you select the option 8VHUGHIQDPH under 0HQX&RQILJXUDWLRQ
6HWWLQJV, you can assign your own numbers or names for meas-
urements (automatic numbering continues to run in the back-
ground, but is no longer taken into consideration).
If you have selected the option /DVW in addition under 0HQX&RQ
ILJXUDWLRQ6HWWLQJV([SHULPHQWLQLW the number of the last ex-
periment appears as a suggestion for the current measurement. If
you do not edit this suggestion, the sample number will be the
same for all measurements!

The message %RPE p appears from then on at the bottom of the screen. This
means that from now on, the decomposition vessel can be suspended in the meas-
urement cell cover.
h
If additional amounts of distilled water, solutions, etc. will be used in subsequent
combustion experiments, the same quantity of the same substance should be in-
cluded now in the decomposition vessel. The system should be calibrated in the
same state in which you intend to be working later. If the operating mode changes
(with/without an amount of water) the calibration should also be repeated.
