5.4 – Using the Element pads
The pads can be used to play the drum machine without recording - like an MPC live playing or to record
patterns.
When the REC function is inactive, the pads will only play the Elements without recording them.
When the REC function is active and the sequencer is in Playback, the pads will record the trigger quantized on
the sequencer and with different velocity depending on where the pad is played (if the double velocity feature is
active, which is off by default).
