Connect the AC adaptor to the DC jack on the left side of the iP48 and plug the other end into a working wall socket to charge and play iPod/iPhone and to charge internal battery.

P6 Getting Started with your iP48 Connecting the AC Adaptor RESET R ESET TEST T EST For home operation and to charge your iPhone/iPod, connect the AC adaptor cable plug into the DC jack located under the black tab on the left side of the unit, then plug the AC adaptor into a working outlet. When connected to the AC adaptor, the iP48 charges the internal battery and also charges and lets you play your iPod/iPhone. NOTE: This 9V AC adaptor is for use with the iP48 only.

Use Philips screwdriver to remove screw of internal battery compartment, located behind the dock 2. Remove battery compartment door 3. Disconnect battery connector 4. Do not place in trash.
P8 Using iP48 Using Time Sync to Set Clock from iPhone/iPod The iP48 allows you to sync its clock with the time setting on the iP48 to the time from your iPhone or recent model iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Classic (older iPod models such as iPod mini do not support this feature). 1. Make sure the iP48 is off. Dock your iPhone/iPod into the iP48 using the proper insert (see table on page 1). 2. Press the Button. “SYNC” will flash on the display until sync is completed.
P9 Using iP48 Alarm Time Cycle and Snooze Operation Alarm Time Cycle 1. When using AC power, the alarm time cycle is 1 hour. To save battery power, the alarm time cycle is shorter when using battery power (iPhone/iPod alarm cycle is 15 minutes and wake to buzzer is 3 minutes during battery operation). 2. Press the Snooze/Dimmer Button after the alarm sounds. The alarm will be silenced and come on again after 9 minutes. Snooze can be pressed several times during the alarm time cycle.
