Quick Start 3:iPhone/iPod 2:inserts 1:power RESET E R SET TEST T EST Attach AC adaptor cable to jack on back of the iP21 and plug the other end into a wall socket. Select the dock insert for your iPhone/iPod model from the table below and place insert in dock. To remove insert, place thumbnail in slot and gently pull upwards. Insert iPhone/iPod into dock with proper insert (iPhone/iPod must not be in a skin or case). iPhone/iPod will charge while docked. Press Button on iP21 to play iPhone/iPod.

Setting Up the iP21 Setting the Clock Time Using Time Sync The iP21 Time Sync feature allows you to sync the time setting on the iP21 to the time from your iPhone or recent model iPod (iPod touch, iPod nano and iPod Classic; older iPod models such as iPod mini do not support this feature). 1. Listening to your iPhone/iPod 1. Dock the already playing iPhone/iPod. The iP21 will automatically turn on and you will hear the music playing from your iPhone/iPod. The iPhone/iPod Icon will appear at the right lower corner the display, indicating iPhone/iPod playing mode. For enhanced bass, press the EXB Expanded Bass Switch located on the back of the unit to turn ON.
Alarm Operation The iP21 Home System for iPhone/iPod features “Sure Alarm”. If a power failure occurs or the AC adaptor is accidentally disconnected, the unit will change to buzzer alarm to wake you up (provided you have installed backup battery). This unit also features Gentle Waking, which gradually increases the volume of whatever alarm you set. Sleep Operation 1. When the iP21 is off or while listening to your iPhone/iPod, press the Sleep Button to enter sleep mode. The Sleep Icon will appear on the display to indicate it is in sleep mode.
