P5 Using the iH13 Installing/Replacing Batteries The iH13 uses 4 “AA” batteries for portable playing. The iH13 will not charge your iPod while operating on batteries. If sound becomes weak or distorted, it is time to replace the batteries. • Open the battery compartment cover located below the jacks on the unit. • Insert 4 “AA” batteries as indicated. • We recommend the use of alkaline batteries for longer life.
P6 Using iH13 Hold Switch The iH13 has a Hold Switch to disable button functions while on the go to prevent accidental playing of the iPod and loss of battery power.
