System Installation
Place lter in a convenient location on
the sink where you have enough water
line length to attach diverter to a faucet.
If needed, remove aerator from faucet
where lter will be installed.

Determine thread type:
Outside Thread: No adapter should be
needed, proceed to step 3.
Inside Thread: Use the provided
adapter and washer and screw into
faucet. Tighten by hand.

Adapter
Attach diverter valve to faucet, turning
swivel collar to tighten. Make sure that
gasket inside diverter is positioned
securely between the valve and faucet.
Rotate diverter valve to a desired
position. Swivel collar may need to be
re-tightened.

- Turn cold faucet on then turn diverter
handle, this will cause water to go
through the lter.
- Flush system for 10 - 15 minutes.
- To stop water ow through the lter,
turn diverter handle o, or turn o
faucet.
- Your System is now ready for use.

System Inspection Before Starting
Remove the system and all the components out of the box, take note of
all parts. Inspect the system housings, ttings and connections carefully,
make sure nothing was damaged during transit. If any part is cracked or
damaged, please do not proceed with the installation and contact iFilters or
your distributor for diagnosis or replacement.
Note: An adapter is included with each countertop unit which will t most
faucets, except non-standard and designer faucets. To create a tight seal,
you may need to use a gasket from your faucet’s aerator in addition to the
washers included with the adapter. If the adapter does not t, consult your
local plumbing or hardware supplier for assistance in obtaining the correctly
threaded adapters.
Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown water
quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
