Compatible DEFAULT

Configures the Serial-ATA controller to be in compatible

mode. In this mode, a SATA channel will replace one of

the IDE channels.

 Serial-ATA Controller 1 [Enhanced]

Use the Serial-ATA Controller 1 option to configure the Serial-ATA controller mode when

the SATA mode is set to IDE Mode.



Disabled

Disables Serial-ATA controller.



Enhanced DEFAULT

Configures the Serial-ATA controller to be in enhanced

mode. In this mode, IDE channels and SATA channels

are separated. Some legacy OS do not support this

mode.

5.3.6 USB Configuration

Use the USB Configuration menu (BIOS Menu 9) to read USB configuration information

and configure the USB settings.

USB Devices:

Legacy USB Support [Enabled]

Enables Legacy USB

support. AUTO option

disables legacy support

if no USB devices are

connected. DISABLE

option will keep USB

devices available only

for EFI applications.
