4.3 Turn off the Power
WARNING:
Failing to turn off the system before opening it can cause permanent
damage to the system and serious or fatal injury to the user.
Before any maintenance procedures are carried out on the system, make sure the system
is turned off.
To power off the system, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Locate the power switch. See
6Figure 3-43.
Step 2: Hold down the power switch for six seconds to power off the system. Step 0:
4.4 Opening the System
To access the PPC-5152-D525 internally the back cover must be removed. To remove the
back cover, please follow the steps below.
Step 1: Follow all anti-static procedures. See Section
64.2.
Step 2: Turn off the power. See Section
64.3.
