configuration of the SATA devices installed in the system.

BIOS Menu 8: IDE Configuration
SATA Mode [IDE Mode]
Use the SATA Mode option to configure SATA devices as normal IDE devices.
Disable
Disables SATA devices.
IDE Mode DEFAULT
Configures SATA devices as normal IDE device.
Serial-ATA Controller 0 [Compatible]
Use the Serial-ATA Controller 0 option to configure the Serial-ATA controller mode when
the SATA mode is set to IDE Mode.
Disable
Disables Serial-ATA controller.
Enhanced
Configures the Serial-ATA controller to be in enhanced
mode. In this mode, IDE channels and SATA channels
are separated. Some legacy OS do not support this
mode.
