BIOS Menu 5: IDE Configuration
Î ATA/IDE Configuration [Enhanced]
Use the ATA/IDE Configuration option to configure the SATA controller.

Disabled
Disables the on-board SATA controller.
Î
Compatible DEFAULT
Configures the on-board SATA controller to be in
compatible mode. In this mode, a SATA channel will
replace one of the IDE channels. This mode supports
up to 6 storage devices.
Î
Enhanced
Configures the on-board SATA controller to be in
Enhanced mode. In this mode, IDE channels and SATA
channels are separated.
Î Configure SATA as [IDE]
Use the SATA Mode option to configure SATA devices as normal IDE devices.
