4.7 HDD Installation (AF-12A-N270 Only)
To install the HDD into the AF-12A-N270, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Remove the plastic back cover. See Section
4.5 above.
Step 2: Remove the aluminum cover. See Section
5.4.2.
Step 3: Remove the four HDD bracket retention screws and lift the HDD bracket off the
panel PC.
Step 4: Attach the HDD brackets to the HDD. To do this, align the four retention screw
holes in the both sides of the HDD bracket with the retention screw holes on the
sides of the HDD. Insert four retention screws into the HDD bracket
(
Figure 4-5).

Step 5: Connect the SATA cable to the rear of HDD and the SATA connector on the
motherboard.
Step 6: Install the HDD into the AF-12A-N270 by aligning the retention screw holes in
the HDD brackets with the retention screw holes on the chassis. Insert the four
retention screws.
Step 7: Replace the aluminum back cover to the chassis.
