Step 2: Remove the DDR memory module by pulling both the spring retainer clips
outward from the socket.
Step 3: Grasp the DDR memory module by the edges and carefully pull it out of the
socket.
Step 4: Install the new DDR memory module by pushing it into the socket at an angle
(
Figure 4-2).
Step 5: Gently pull the spring retainer clips of the SO-DIMM socket out and push the
rear of the DDR memory module down (
Figure 4-2).
Step 6: Release the spring retainer clips on the SO-DIMM socket. They clip into place
and secure the DDR memory module in the socket.Step 0:

4.5.2 CF Card Replacement
To install the CompactFlash® card, the cover plate must be removed. To remove the
cover plate and install the CompactFlash® card, follow the instructions below.
