Step 5: Remove the memory module by pulling both the spring retainer clips outward
from the socket.
Step 6: Grasp the memory module by the edges and carefully pull it out of the socket.
Step 7: Install the new memory module by pushing it into the socket at an angle (
Figure
4-2).
Step 8: Gently pull the spring retainer clips of the SO-DIMM socket out and push the
rear of the memory module down (
Figure 4-2).
Step 9: Release the spring retainer clips on the SO-DIMM socket. They clip into place
and secure the memory module in the socket.Step 0:
