Antivirus protection may be installed on the computer;
these types of SW enter into con
flict with the
DETECTOR DUO acquisition SW.
IDS takes no responsibility for any functional conflicts
that may occur between their own software and any other
software installed by the user onto the Notebook
Computer. IDS doesn’t guarantee that equipment
per
formance will be maintained using configurations
different to those recommended.
5.2 Basic characteristics of the notebook PC
If you decide to use a different notebook PC to the one suggested by
IDS, it must have the following characteristics:
 Pentium processor > 1.5GHz or Centrino > 900 MHz.
 Ethernet 100 Mbit/sec card.
 monitor resolution (color) > 800x600.
 Operative system: Windows 2000 Professional (Service Pack 4)
or XP Professional.
 HDD > 40 Gbyte, shock-proof (mounted on a gel support or
equivalent).
 CD drive and/or floppy.
 Water-proof (>= IP54).
