VELCRO STRIP INSTALLATION
1. The installation surface for installation with Velcro strips must be
free of grease. If necessary, clean the surface.
2. Detach the protective strip from a Velcro strip and adhere the
Velcro strip to the battery compartment cover.
3. Detach the protective strip from the second Velcro strip and adhere
this one rmly to the installation surface. Fix the device in place by
joining the two Velcro strips together.
INSTALLATION WITH SCREWS
1. Seek the assistance of a professional if you are unsure of how to
conduct an installation with wall anchors. This type of installation
requires attention to special safety instructions.
2. Afx the device through the hanging hole with the aid of the screw
on the installation surface. Depending on the installation surface,
the installation holes may need to be pre-drilled in order to prevent
damage to the installation surface.
Note
• Do not point the device toward glass or other reective surfaces.
This reduces the function!
• Do not place this device in any areas which are affected by drafts or
strong temperature uctuations. This also reduces the function.
• The higher the room temperature (in contrast to body temperature),
the more sensitive the sensor. For example, the detection is better
in a (cold) garage or slightly or unheated hall than in a warm living
room.
• The lower the body mass, the more sensitive the sensor reaction.
For example, an adult is easier to detect than a child.
• Do not operate this device near conventional tube televisions/
monitors. The magnetic base can cause malfunctions.
