IDEC SA1E polarized retro-reflective sensors are configured with the
emitter and detector housed in one unit. Light is sent from the sensor’s
emitter to a reflector, which then reflects the light back to the sensor’s
receiver. The biggest advantage of using this type of sensor is that
wiring is very easy due to the fact you only have one unit to wire.
TThese sensors are also ideal for detecting mirror-like objects.
