1.3 Required Optional Parts
A HG2G-S/-5S, HG1F/2F/3F/4F must be equipped with an HG9Z-2G1 O/I Link Unit in order to be able to perform O/I Link commu-
nication. Refer to the O/I Link Unit installation, WindO/I-NV2 User’s Manual or SmartAXIS Touch User's Manual for details regard-
ing connection to the HG2G-S/-5S, HG1F/2F/3F/4F and wiring.

HG2G-S/-5S/-5F, HG3G/4G and Touch use different type of O/I link communication protocol than HG1F/2F/2S/3F/4F.
HG2G-S/-5S/-5F, HG3G/4G and Touch can not be connected with other HG1F/2F/2S/3F/4F in O/I link communication.

- When connect COM1 of the HG2G-5F, HG3G/4G and the SERIAL1 of the HG2G-S/-5S, set the terminating resistor OFF.
