Torch Fitting
Gas Hose
Our Propane torches are high-quality products tested individually and guaranteed in order to
provide excellent performance and a safety operating system with no need for a high pressure
regulator. They can be used at maximum pressure, even for 10 hours non-stop use.
The hose assembly provided with the kit has a standard POL valve fitting (POL 880-14 NGO LH for
USA / POL G 5/8' LH for UK).
NOTE: As a safety precaution, the hose assembly is supplied with an excess-flow control valve
that shuts off the gas in the event of a damaged or severed hose. Opening the supply tank valve
rapidly can cause the valve to close. If the excess-flow valve closes, close the supply tank valve.
Open briefly the POL hose fitting from the supply gas tank by turning it clockwise with adjustable
wrench to disarm the excess-flow valve on hose assembly until you hear a “click”. Retighten the
connection counterclockwise to the supply tank. Slowly open supply tank valve. Be sure the gas
valve on torch is turned off to pressurize the hose before opening the torch valve.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
Hose to torch: With the integrated wrenches provided, assemble gas line to torch handle. Tighten
gas hose fitting onto handle fitting. The gas fitting uses a left-handed thread. Turn counterclockwise
to tighten.
Gas line to cylinder: Inspect the nut/nipple (excess-flow check valve) connection of the hose
assembly. Check for any dents or damage. The o-ring must be present. Insert hose fitting into gas
cylinder valve and turn counterclockwise to tighten. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten.
CAUTION. Never pull the rubber hose if connected to the gas cylinder.
