5. Confirm the phone number entered with the ARM/DISARM button.
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for additional phone numbers.
To delete a phone number from memory:
1. In the MEMORY menu option, press */UP or */DOWN to scroll to the memory location
you wish to erase.
2. Press the DEL./PAUSE button to delete the number, then ARM/DISARM to confirm.
2.6.1. Testing the remote notifications feature
1. In standby mode (the system is disarmed and you have not entered programming mode) press
and hold the PROG button for at least 3 seconds, until you hear a short beep.
• The dialer must be connected to a telephone line for this to function. If it is not
connected, you will hear 4 short beeps.
2. Enter the memory location of the telephone number you wish to test with (i.e. 1 – 5). The phone
number stored in the specified memory location will be dialed and displayed on screen.
3. Press the PROG button to stop the dialing.
2.7. Configuring the entry delay
The entry delay provides a delay between when a sensor is triggered and the alarm is activated. This
allows you to disarm the system after entering your home. You can choose an entry delay of 0, 5, 10, 15,
or 20 seconds. By default, the delay is set to 20 seconds.
To change the entry delay:
1. Enter programming mode
2. Choose the ENTRY menu option.
3. Use the */UP or #/DOWN buttons to change the setting, and the ARM/DISARM
button to confirm your selection.
2.8. Configuring the call-in feature
The alarm centre allows you to operate the system by calling into it. By default, it has been set to
answer the incoming phone call after five (5) rings.
NOTE: You cannot use an answering machine with this feature.
• If you want to enable the call-in feature, you must program it to answer before your
answering machine does.
• If you want to use an answering machine, you must ensure that it is programmed to pick up
incoming calls before the alarm centre. We recommend changing the call-in setting to of the
alarm centre to 10 rings.
To change how many times the phone rings before the alarm centre picks up the call:
1. Enter programming mode.
2. Choose the dial-in menu option.
