2.2. Setting & re-setting the password
The alarm centre comes with a factory default password: 0-0-0
2.2.1. To change the password:
1. Enter programming mode.
2. Choose the PASSWORD menu option.
3. Enter your new password. It can be 3 to 6 digits long.
4. Confirm with the ARM/DISARM button.
5. Record your new password here: ____________
2.2.2. Resetting the password
If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it. This procedure will reset the password only. All
other information (programmed phone numbers and linked sensors) will remain.
1. Open the upper panel on the back of the unit and locate the RESET button (see section 1.3 -
Components).
2. While holding the PROG button, press and release the RESET button once. The screen will
go blank. Continue to hold the PROG button.
3. When the screen returns, release the PROG button.
4. The password has now been reset to the default 0-0-0.
2.3. Setting the date & time
1. Enter programming mode.
2. Choose the Date/Time menu option.
3. The date and time will now be displayed on screen as five sets of numbers: YYYY-MM-DD HH-
MM (24-hour time format). The first set of numbers will be flashing, confirming these can now
be changed.
4. Change the year by using the */UP or #/DOWN buttons, then press ARM/DISARM
to confirm. The next set of numbers will begin flashing.
5. Repeat this process until the date and time are correct.
6. Press the PROG button to exit the Date/Time setting menu.
2.4. Enabling/disabling the siren
The alarm centre features a built-in 105dB siren. By default, it is enabled.
To disable or enable the siren:
1. Enter programming mode
2. Choose the Siren menu option.
3. Use the */UP or #/DOWN buttons to change the setting, and the ARM/DISARM
button to confirm your selection.
2.5. Enabling/disabling remote notifications
The alarm centre provides remote notifications by telephone. When an alarm is triggered (and if remote
notifications are enabled), the alarm centre will dial each of the stored phone numbers once per cycle,
