4. Raise the antenna on the alarm centre so it points straight up, for better reception.
5. To insert the optional 9V backup battery (not included), remove the battery cover from the back
of the alarm centre (Fig. 5).
6. If you choose to mount the alarm centre on the wall, test the communication range with all your
wireless sensors (use the HOME mode) before drilling any holes. Once you’ve confirmed your
installation location, drill two holes using the template provided, and install the wall anchors
and screws. Place the alarm centre over the screws and slide it down to secure it in place (Fig.
6).
2.1. Programming mode
NOTE: The default password is 0-0-0.
To enter programming mode: Enter your password on the keypad, then press the PROG button. A
series of icons will appear at the very top of the LCD screen, beginning with PASSWORD, which will be
flashing.
To cycle through menu options: Use the PROG or the */UP and #/DOWN buttons. The
active menu option will flash.
To choose a menu option or confirm a selection: Use the ARM/DISARM button.
To exit programming mode: Cycle through to the end of the menu by repeatedly pressing the PROG
button, or wait 10 seconds. If no key is pressed for 10 seconds, the alarm centre will exit
programming mode.
Programming mode can only be entered when the system is DISARMED.
