Home Safety
Don’t get caught in the dark fumbling for candles or flashlights. Candles

period of time. EMERGENCY POWER FAILURE LIGHTS from Ideal
provide instant emergency illumination for a safer home. The optional
photocell controlled night light feature provides soft LED light (uses 1
LED) for night time use even when the power is on.

limited to uses inside the home. Without any wiring, our blackout light is
fully portable thanks to its detachable AC adapter. Just remember that
when you unplug it, it needs to be plugged back in within 3 months to
recharge. It should be recharged for 48-72 hours to be fully charged.
Long life bright 0.5 WATT LED bulbs!
While many other power failure lights rely on standard incandescent bulbs
IDEAL EMERGENCY POWER FAILURE LIGHTS use 6 high power (0.5
W) LED bulbs producing 120 Lumens of light. Choose between full
intensity illumination using all 6 LED bulbs and long lasting illumination
using 3 LED bulbs. At full power the unit will last for up to 8 hours before
the light drops to half it’s brightness. At “half power” the unit will last for
over 12 hours before the light drops in intensity. The Ideal EMERGENCY
POWER FAILURE LIGHT can also be manually shut off when not needed
to conserve battery power.
The unit is designed to be left plugged in without damage to its
rechargable battery. When plugged in, the power sensing technology will
trigger the unit to turn on automaticaly when power is cut (or unplugged).

When unplugged, the battery can hold its charge for up to 3 months.
Using a regular maintanence routine of charging the battery for 48-72
hours every 3 months will help the battery maintain a long life.
