Safety Advice
When using MC2+, always take basic safety precautions
to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to
persons. These include the following:
• When connecting to the line, special care must
be taken as high voltages may be present on
the line and there may be a danger of
electrocution.
• Avoid using the tester during an electrical
storm—there is a remote risk of electric shock
by lightning.
• Use only the batteries supplied with the tester.
See Batteries on page EN-1.
• Do not dispose of batteries in a fire—they may
explode.
• Disconnect all interface cables before
removing the battery cover.
• Never remove the rubber boot of the case
while MC2+ is switched on or connected to
the network.
• Use only the charger and adaptor supplied
with your MC2+.
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargable
batteries in the battery charger.
