-3- Press and release quickly to increment the
numbers.
-4- Repeat steps -2- and -3- for each entry field as
required.
For example you could use the last four digits of the
telephone number on the line you are testing, for
example: 1234.
-5- Select [OK] and press briefly to store the
current results using this User-ID.
A screen similar to the following is displayed briefly
confirming that the results have been stored.
The first four digits are the User-ID that you entered. The
next four digits are updated by MC2+ to assign a unique
filename identifier each time you use the same User-ID to
save your results. This enables you to save multiple results
for a single telephone line. For example:
12340001
12340002.
Transferring Results from MC2+ to a PC
Before you can transfer the Results from MC2+ to a PC
you must do the following:
• Install the TFTP server (Pumpkin) from the Trend
CD. See Installing the TFTP Server onto the PC on
page EN-42.
• Set up the TFTP server See Setting up the TFTP
Server on page EN-44.
• Connect MC2+ to the PC. See Using MC2+ when
connected to a PC on page EN-8.
Installing the TFTP Server onto the PC
-1- Insert the Trend User Information CD.
-2- Select Install Software and choose MC2+.
