The following results are only available if MC2+ has
achieved Showtime.
• BITRATE Kbps: Bit Rate in kilobits per second.
• ATTAINABLE Kbps: Maximum Attainable Bit Rate
in kilobits per second.
• PERCENTAGE USED: Percentage Bit Rate Used.
• ATTENUATION dB: Attenuation in dB.
• NOISE MARGIN dB: Noise Margin (current values)
in dB.
• Downstream Noise Margin Histogram
This displays a histogram of Downstream Noise
Margin samples which give an indication of the
stability of the ADSL connection.
A sample is taken approximately every 6 seconds and
is added to the right-hand side. 16 samples are
displayed so that you can easily compare samples.
- Lowest and Highest Levels: These levels are set
when MC2+ first achieves Showtime. The lowest
level is indicated by a short sample symbol and
the highest by a tall symbol.
- Current Level: This may take a few seconds to
update.
• Tx POWER dBm: Transmit Power in dBm.
• WAN IP (n): A PPP connection has to be established
before the network assigned WAN Address can be
displayed. If more than one connection has been
established, press to cycle through each
connection in turn.
