Installation Instructions
This harness is used
to
simplify installation
of
aftermarket
amplifiers and digital signal
processors
at
the
factory head
unit
in vehicles
without
external amplifiers. There are
three
ways this harness
can
be used.
Rockford/Maestro DSRl:

specific adaptors
to
plug
into
the
18-pin plug on this harness, sold separately.
There
is
a

wiring modification
in
this

: Populate the supplied blue wire in
pin
2 of
the smaller 18-
pin
plug. Connect this wi
re
to the
loose
blue wire labelled "turn-
on
in
"
in
the larger
18
-
pin
plug.
Universal Application:
This harness
can
be used
to
connect directly
to
high level inputs
of
any
DSP
product,
LOC,
or
amplifier. Simply cut
off
the
18-pin plug and wire
it
directly
to
the
inputs
of
the
product you
are installing. These are
EIA
colors
as
shown below.
