The Spectrum Pro is a PCI-PTS 4.x and SRED cered hybrid MagStripe
and Smart Card insert reader designed for outdoor unaended
environments. Meeng the latest requirements of the payment industry,
the Spectrum Pro is EMV Level 1 and Level 2 approved and features DUKPT
key management with TDES or AES encrypon algorithms. Moreover,
Spectrum Pro’s tamper-resistant and SRED cered structure extends the
reader’s physical security to protect consumers’ nancial data from being
compromised in outdoor and unaended applicaons. The Spectrum Pro
has the ability to be integrated with ID TECH’s PCI 4.x SRED cered ID
TECH L100 PIN pad to provide a secure Chip & PIN soluon in outdoor and
unaended environments such as parking operaons, vending machines,
kiosks and ATMs.
Ultra Low Power Consumpon, Low Temperature
Adaptability in a Weather Sealed and Robust Body
The proprietary sleep mode and stop mode on the Spectrum Pro
allow for ultra low power consumpon during idle and a fast wake up
response in o-grid solar powered environment, and its adaptability to
low operaonal temperature down to -25° Celsius or - 13° Fahrenheit
ensures reliable year round in the arcc regions. The Spectrum Pro is IP65
and IK10 rated for impact tampering resistance to withstand the rigors
of the unaended outdoor environment against ingress of dust, liquid
and other harmful substances. An LED on the front of the reader informs
users of successful card reading while three LEDs on the back are used
for diagnosc purposes. A standard card latch prevents premature card
removal during smart card transacons, a valuable feature in unaended
applicaons where human error minimizaon is paramount.
