The IB-DK2262AC's solid housing
is made of strong aluminium alloy,
which makes this housing more du-
rable than ordinary aluminium or
plastic products, effectively protec-
ting the DockingStation and equip-
ping it for a wide range of use condi-
tions. The aluminium material and the
heat sink design with cooling fins sup-
port heat dissipation for an excellent
passive cooling effect and protect
the unit from overheating even under
heavy use.
The IB-DK2262AC provides up to
three video interfaces of different re-
solutions with two HDMI
®
and one
VGA connection, enabling the simul-
taneous connection of HDMI
®
and
VGA display devices in expansion
mode. This is achieved by combining
state-of-the-art technologies such as
DisplayLink
®
and DisplayPort™ Alt
Mode.
Wireless devices are certainly more
convenient and good to use in many
situations, and yet there are better
options if you need high data trans-
fer rates, for example. In addition,
wired connections are more secure
than wireless connections. Especially
if you don‘t want to or can‘t fully ex-
ploit the security measures available
via WLAN, LAN connections offer
less risk. Then an Ethernet interface is
the best way to transfer files between
devices with high security and maxi-
mum transfer rate.
