TROUBLESHOOTING
If your transceiver seems to be malfunctioning, please check the following points before sending it to a service center.
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION REF.
No power comes on. The battery is exhausted. Recharge the battery pack.

Bad connection for the battery pack. Check the connection to the transceiver. p. 7
The CP-20s fuse is blown. Check for the cause, then replace the p. 29
CP-20s fuse to new one.
No sound comes from Squelch level is too deep. Set squelch to the threshold point. p. 8

find the source of the problem if possible, and replace the
damaged fuse with a new rated one (FGB 8 A) as shown
right.
