• The mini spectrum scope screen can be displayed with
another screen, such as memory or set mode screen,
simultaneously.
%3 VOICE MEMORY RECORD SWITCH [REC]

➥ Records the received signal for the preset time
period when pushed.
• After the preset time has passed, stops recording au-
tomatically.
➥ Records the received signal until cancelling the
record when pushed for 1 sec.
• Push this switch momentarily to stops recording.
• The memory records the latest 30 sec. of audio.
%4 VOICE MEMORY PLAY BACK SWITCH [PLAY]

➥ Plays back the previously recorded audio for the
preset time period when pushed.
➥ Plays back all of the previously recorded audio
when pushed for 1 sec.
%5 EXIT/SET SWITCH [EXIT/SET]
➥ Push to exit, or return to the previous screen in-
dication during spectrum scope, memory, scan or
set mode screen display.
➥ Displays set mode menu screen when pushed
for 1 sec.
%6 TRANSMIT FREQUENCY CHECK SWITCH [XFC]

Monitors the transmit frequency (including ∂TX fre-
quency offset)
when pushed and held during split fre-
quency operation.
• While pushing this switch, the transmit frequency can be
changed with the main dial, keypad, memo pad or
[Y]/[Z] switches.
• When the split lock function is turned ON, pushing [XFC]
cancels the dial lock function. (p. 6-7)
