A change has been implemented regarding the expansion valve on the ICEU300 Series cube ice machine.
Ice-O-Matic is now utilizing a Danfoss manufactured valve, which will replace the Alco manufactured valve. This supplier
change was implemented on July 26, 2008, and will affect units manufactured beginning with serial number
08071280013420.

This Danfoss manufactured expansion valve can replace any Alco manufactured expansion valve used on the
ICEU300/305 A/W Revision 1 series cubers.

Installation Note: The new Danfoss TXV utilizes a stainless steel bulb. When installing a replacement
Danfoss TXV valve, the bulb must be installed with the proper clamp and as tightly as possible to insure proper
performance.
