About this guide
This guide provides product planning information, replacement and removal
procedures, problem determination and parts listings of field-replaceable-units
(FRUs) for the IBM 4810/4910 SurePOS
™
300. The 4910-32x model is an Express
solution, which includes a 4810-32H machine, a printer, display, cash drawer, and
possibly other I/O. The components of the 4910 Express Solution are determined
by each country or geographical region.
Throughout this guide, the term 4810 refers to all models of the IBM 4810/4910
SurePOS 300. The chapters are organized as follows:
v Chapter 1, “Introduction,” on page 1-1 provides a summary of all the models of
the IBM 4810/4910 SurePOS 300.
v Chapter 2, “Disassembling the 4810/4910 SurePOS 300,” on page 2-1 describes
the procedure for removing parts from the 4810/4910.
v Chapter 3, “Problem determination,” on page 3-1 describes the procedures for
resolving problems.
v Chapter 4, “Parts catalog,” on page 4-1 provides the most recent parts
information for the product.
