•LenovoThinkVantageToolboxhasanautomaticbatterydiagnosticthatdeterminesifthebatterypackisdefective.
AbatterypackFRUshouldnotbereplacedunlessthisdiagnosticshowsthatthebatteryisdefective.
•Theonlyexceptiontothisisifthebatterypackisphysicallydamagedoracustomerisreportingapossible
safetyissue.
•IfLenovoThinkVantageToolboxisnotinstalledinthecomputer,thecustomershoulddownloadthisprogram
beforeanon-physicallydamagedbatterypackisreplaced.Notethatthereplacementofaphysicallydamaged
batterypackisnotcoveredbythewarranty.
