Building CLEM Expressions
Accessing the Expression Builder
The Expression Builder is available in all nodes where CLEM e xp r essions are used, including
Select, Balance, Derive, Fill er, Analys is , Report, and Table nodes. You can open it by clic king the
calcula tor button just to the right of the formula field.

Creating Expressions
The Expression Builder provides not only complete lists of fields, functions , and operators but
also access to data values if your data is instantiated.
To Create an Expression Using the Expression Builder
E Type in the expres sion field, using the fun ction and field lists as references.

E Select the required fields and functions from the scrolling lists.
